The festival of Eid ul-Fitr is celebrated by Muslims with great enthusiasm as it comes at the end of Ramadan, everyone waits for this Eid impatiently. As the matter of Eid Holidays in Pakistan, the Ministry of Interior, Pakistan Government, officially announces the dates every year. Eid holidays in Pakistan 2020.

Interior Minister announced four days of, Eid Holidays in Pakistan 2020, from May 22 to  May 27, 2020. Including Saturday and Sunday, those were Six holidays. On the other hand, People to celebrated Eid ul Adha, on July 31, 2020 with four public holidays from Sunday.

Festival this year

Hence, one can tell about the dates of the Eid ul Fitr after sighting Moon of Shawal.At Eid ul Fitr, the public holiday schools, the general population, and most businesses are closed. However, this year in Covid-19 Pendamic most of the offices and all educational Institutes are closed because of Lockdown in the Country, the Federal Government announces Eid Holidays 2020 in Pakistan from one day before the Eid until the third of Its day. So, Dates of Eid ul Fitr 2020 in Pakistan are May 24, 25, May 26, May 27, 2020. We will have three holidays at the Eid ul Fitr festival this year, respectively.

A Holy Festival

The Holy day of Eid ul Fitr starts from Eid prayer, in Arabic, it’s called ‘’ Salat ul Eid’’. Muslims do Ghusl, wear new clothes, use sent sans gather in mosques or open areas and offer two ‘’Rakat’’.Further, Imam delivers a Congregational sermon in which he prays mercy, peace, and forgiveness for everyone across the world.

Moreover, one of the key elements of the Eid is giving money to the poor and needy, known as ‘Zakat al-Fitr’ the amount which depends upon the possessions someone holds.

Saudia Arabia’ s Eid this year

Correspondingly, Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, KSA Government will impose a countrywide 24-hour curfew during the five-days of Eid al-Fitr. Therefore, In an official Saudi Press Agency, the interior ministry said in a statement that Eid ul-fitr in saudia Arabia 2020 a complete lockdown will be enforced from May, 23 to May, 27 following the end of Ramadan. However, except the holy city of Mecca, which remains under a complete curfew, business and commercial enterprises will remain open and people can move without restraint as they now do between 9 am to 5 pm.
